Anacru collects nothing. No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no analytics, and no internet connection required. Everything you make stays on your device.
The short version
Anacru is a tool for constructing rhythm. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no user accounts, no login, no advertising, no analytics or usage tracking, and no third-party data collection of any kind. The app does not require network access to function.
What stays on your device
Everything Anacru saves lives only on your device, under your control:
- Saved patterns. When you save a rhythm, it is stored locally on your device (using the operating system's standard on-device storage). It is never uploaded anywhere.
- Exported MIDI files. When you export, Anacru writes a
.midfile locally and hands it to the system share sheet so you can choose where it goes — Files, AirDrop, a DAW, or anywhere else. Anacru does not send it on your behalf.
Data we collect
None. Because Anacru has no servers and makes no network requests, there is no personal data for us to collect, see, sell, or share — including the categories Apple's App Store labels describe. Nothing leaves your device through the app.
Children's privacy
Anacru is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Since the app collects no data, any change would only ever clarify that fact.
